On the morning of August 23, Green Power Investment Joint Stock Company, together with EVN HCMC and EVN Hoc Mon, awarded the solar power project to the Hoc Mon Vocational School for the Disabled and Orphans, The solar system has helped the school save more than 1 million VND per month.
Currently, the Center is providing free vocational training for children with disabilities in the city as well as some other provinces. The Center has trained 242 courses with.3311 students since 2006. Most of them are self-employed and have a stable income after graduation.
With the project with a total installed capacity of 3.45 kWp, the Center will save more than 1 million electricity bills every month to cover the living and vocational needs of the students here.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the city’s electricity industry and authorities are also encouraging people and businesses to install solar power systems. Up to now, Ho Chi Minh City has had 3,366 customers installing rooftop solar power with a total installed capacity of 39.31 MWp, generating electricity to the grid of 6.03 million KWh.
